APPLICATIONS OPEN NOVEMBER 7, 2018
DUE DECEMBER 31, 2018

(APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED)

In partnership with the Women’s Equality Center (WEC), Women Photograph will provide five grants of $5,000 each to photojournalists working to document issues related to reproductive health, rights and justice in Argentina, El Salvador, Honduras and the United States. Examples of relevant topics include abortion and contraception access, maternal health, reproductive health policy and abortion bans.

If you would like to apply as part of multimedia team, the International Women's Media Foundation is accepting team reporting applications for photographers interested in covering these topics.

FAQ:

These grants are open to women, transgender, and non-binary documentary photographers of any nationality.

There is no fee to apply.

Applications must be submitted in English or Spanish.

Grant recipients will all commit to seeking out editorial placements of their work.

Applicants may submit proposals for new or ongoing projects.

All work must be completed and published by June 30, 2019.

Grantees will retain full ownership of all work completed.
