This two-day workshop for women and non-binary photographers will involve skills-building sessions, panel talks, portfolio reviews, and hostile environment training.

Selected photographers will be notified by August 15 to register and commit to attending. There are limited spots and there are a number of travel stipends available for photographers who require financial support traveling from outside of the tri-state area.
The workshop will cost $90 to attend. Registration fees will cover lunch and help subsidize travel costs for speakers and participants. We will also be able to waive the workshop fee for a limited number of photographers. Please contact us directly if accepted to discuss.
PHOTOVILLE is New York City’s FREE premier photo destination. Produced by United Photo Industries, the annual festival is a modular venue built from re-purposed shipping containers. Photoville’s sixth edition (2017) in Brooklyn Bridge Park, welcomed over 92,000 visitors. Working with more than 100 curatorial partners, Photoville exhibits work by 600+ visual artists annually. Comprised of 85 exhibitions, 35 talks and workshops, and seven nighttime events in an outdoor Smorgasburg beer garden, Photoville remains entirely FREE to attend, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience thought-provoking, challenging, and exceptional photography from across the globe.
